Few words about formats...

PDF

Portable Document Format (PDF) is a file format used to represent documents in a manner independent of application software, hardware, and operating system.

For business and government organizations, "posing the PDF" is now essentially THE physical act of publication. Pretty much everyone with a computer is assumed to have a PDF Reader; it's a standard assumption in millions of interactions between consumers, business and government everyday. Hundreds of millions of people "PDF it" when they want to share some content.

DOC

Historically, the extension was used for documentation in plain text, particularly of programs or computer hardware on a wide range of operating systems. During the 1980s, WordPerfect used DOC as the extension of their proprietary format. Later, in the 1990s, Microsoft chose to use the DOC extension for their proprietary Microsoft Word format. The original uses for the extension have largely disappeared from the PC world.

XLS

XLS is a file extension for a spreadsheet file format created by Microsoft for use with Microsoft Excel. You can remember XLS as eXceL Spreadsheet.
Microsoft Excel files use a proprietary format for storing Microsoft Excel documents. This file format is known as the Binary Interchange File Format (BIFF). These streams contain meta-data information about the document, such as the author name, subject, and individual sheet names. XLS files can also be opened by the Microsoft Excel Viewer, and OpenOffice.

HTML

Exporting to HTML means creating a "web page" format. Because you use web browser, we provide online viewing of the HTML export. According to viewing you can share the link, URL of the result.

Winmail.dat

Winmail.dat/ Win.dat is Transport Neutral Encapsulation Format or TNEF - a proprietary email attachment format used by Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange Server.
